When I express my desire to work in the church, what I truly mean is that I want to be part of a community of love. While I appreciate the opportunity to serve, I really enjoy the intricate details, and the formalities associated with church life, my deeper longing is to engage with the living, breathing, and fully alive body of Christ. It’s in those moments when I witness faith in action, unexpected connections, and the transformative impact on lives that I am reminded why I truly love my job
Making an Impact motivates me at my job. I find motivation in contributing to something greater than myself. The chance to shape important projects and influence lives provides a sense of ownership and purpose.
I have many favorite songs, but currently I would choose “Don’t Stop Dancing” a song by the band Creed featured on their third album, “Weathered” released in 2001. A highly underrated album in my opinion.
